In accordance with your wishes, we offer different finishes according to the photographs and in agreement with the photographers.
The print only option is the photograph without any frame, just as it leaves the lab. It is made by the photographer or by a professional lab chosen in agreement with them, with the same care as for an exhibition.
The printing process, the size and the number of copies in the edition are stated on each photograph's page.
It is the ideal choice if you would like to select the framing yourself. The print is shipped carefully protected; preferably handle it by the edges with cotton gloves, and keep it away from direct sunlight and humidity.
You can also choose one of our finishes, made by the best craftsmen and designed to enhance and protect the photograph as a work of art.
The print is set in a classic black-tinted beech oak frame – black being the best adapted neutral colour for photography. The 3 cm (1.2 inch) thickness of the frame sets off the photo bringing it out from the wall. The glass is anti ultra-violet ray to protect your photo from light damage and anti-reflect. The glass we choose ensures perfect transparency without dulling the image.Lastly, the photo is mounted under a 15/10ème passe-partout that has a neutral PH and is bevelled at 45°.The photo is at it’s best and also distanced from the glass. It will not suffer damage from condensation. All these features offer maximum protection for your photo.
Our finishing proposals are at the top level of excellence, thought and artcrafted to add value to the print itself as well as to protect it at the maximum. There are plenty other options, of which less expensive ones, on demand.
Photograph laminated on aluminum plate, in black wood, with a slight highlight enhancing the photography, which remains well protected by the frame that surrounds it.
The Box is the most sophisticated version of finish. The photograph is laminated on aluminium plate, in black wood, with a slight highlight enhancing the photography. And , on top of, the photograph is protected on the front by a glass both anti-UV and anti reflections.
We propose here the best way to "ennoble" the image and make it exist as best as art object. The supervision is provided by one of our best French craftsmen.
The print is stuck onto an aluminium plate and covered with a sheet of acrylic resin which adheres onto the print and gives perfect transparency. This finish lightly accentuates the contrasts & depth of the photograph and lends it more presence. An aluminium back plate fitting into the back gives more solidity to the work and allows hanging at just the right distance from the wall. The plexiglas finish guarantees maximum protection of your photo.
