The first time that I developed a film I had fifteen years. Ca occurred in the kitchen from my large mother with a small Paterson tank, although having followed the indications given on the packing of the film, the result was rather disastrous, but while the negative one drained with the top of the sink, and that the nose stuck on the wet gelatine I discovered my first photographs I felt something of indefinable, a mixture of excitation and pride... Without the knowledge really I had become photographer.
