Dan Aucante's work is dominated by the strictness and strong demand of his process, which made his personal pursuit a constant challenge.
Thus, in 2002, he comes back to black and white silver photography by adopting a medium-format. In a series entitled “Limites” along the European’s west coast, he takes a closer look at faddish and vain men’ steps facing eternity.
Since 2004, in « Le Temps des Grenadines » where the main theme is childhood, he dwells upon themes such as memory, death and passage of time.
